Anonymous asked: Not to be rude or start anything, but I'm just genuinely curious as to what your reasons are for being a fan of Kate? Other than the fact that she wears pretty outfits and is beautiful, I don't see anything super special about her. I was just wondering what the logic was there, as she has yet to do any meaningful work or show a desire to work, so there's not many solid reasons to be a fan of hers IMHO. Again, I'm just wondering what the MM logic is :)

Well, first of all - there doesn’t need to be a “solid reason” to be a fan of anyone. If someone LIKES someone, that is their prerogative and barring the person they’re a fan of being a completely horrible person (Hitler comes to mind), there is no reason they should need to defend it.

Second, I do not consider myself an MM - while I am a fan of Catherine, I also see her flaws (some of which being that she didn’t work in the whole time leading up to her wedding, and her clothes are a a bit extravagant when it comes to price) which is something that some MM’s aren’t willing to acknowledge. I also wouldn’t get into a death match over how amazing Catherine is with someone who isn’t a Catherine fan as some MM’s are willing to do. If someone doesn’t like her, that’s fine by me.

Now - to answer your question. I’ve been a fan of Catherine since well before the royal wedding, or before the engagement was ever announced. So - considering that fact, I pretty much became a Catherine fan because she’s pretty, and managed to snag a Prince. There was no other logic behind it, and I wasn’t anticipating the day she would be come Queen. When I started following her, I honestly didn’t anticipate she and William getting married. (It’s also probably helpful to note that I am HUGE into following Hollywood celebrities.)

Now, regarding Catherine’s work, or her desire to work, I’d say that we need to give her more than 1 year to show her stuff. It’s been said - since the engagement - that Catherine and William would NOT become full-time working royals until William has finished his RAF duties. Soon he will be deciding whether or not to sign on for another 3 years, but I doubt that will happen, due to his grandmother’s old age. And regardless of that, until William ups his duties, Catherine can’t up hers - it would be inappropriate for her to outshine her husband. When he was in the Falklands, she did numerous solo engagements and she did a truly fantastic job, and I think that had a lot to do with the fact that William was working (and the whole world knew it) - so it was okay if she did too, it wouldn’t put either of them in a bad light. If Catherine was doing engagements and William wasn’t people would say he was the lazy one. And if William had been in the Falklands and Catherine was only out shopping or something, people would say she is the lazier one.

In the meantime, due to the press attention that Catherine seems to get, it’s no surprise that in the lead up to The Jubilee she has kept a low profile. She attended the Garden Party and her face was splashed across every website and magazine, there’s no reason for Her Majesty to share HER spotlight with Catherine. Catherine will have her time to shine.

So … long story short, I became a Catherine fan because she was pretty. But I think that she is going to do a wonderful job in her role in the British Royal Family, and we’ve just got to wait for things to settle down in her personal life before we critique her public life.

Question :) Are the medals Harry’s wearing the Afghan War, Diamond Jubilee, & Golden Jubilee medals? Is that why he has 3 and Prince William has 2 (because William has not fought in the Afghan War)?

Anonymous asked: I really don't understand what some people are talking about. I didn't see any arguing between William and Harry. Nor do I think Harry was sad. It was a 3+ hour event standing in the cold rain. Did people honestly expect him (or any of the royals) to be smiley the entire time? Even the Queen had moments where she looked serious. Heck, at one point Prince Charles and Harry were talking to one another and not smiling. Should we conclude that they were arguing? It's ridiculous. (#1)

I agree. I think that there are some people who are really, really hunting for signs of discord between The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, & between The Duchess of Cambridge & the rest of the royal family, & I just don’t see it. They’re a family - families have their good moments & their bad moments, but I don’t think William (stubborn as he may be) would have dated a woman for 8 years & then married her if his entire family disliked her.

I also agree that their looks of disinterest/sadness/whatever were probably due to the weather & length of the event. It was 3+ hours of standing in the cold rain, as you pointed out - I can’t imagine that I would be having any fun in that weather. They all looked as if they were freezing, & didn’t sit down for the entire time. I’m sure they were all excited, honored, & overwhelmed by the amazing crowds & spectacle (especially the Woman of the Day - Queen Elizabeth II), but it’s hard to keep a beaming smile in the cold & wind.

This picture interests me some what. I don’t want to drag up the whole scar vs air extentions argument again, but look at Catherine’s hair here. The ‘scar’ that used to appear some what straight here looks zig zagged. I’m personally beginning to think that they may be extentions. (and before poeple moan there is nothing wrong with that). Just something I found interesting.

I think if they were extensions they’d be better well hidden, and the mark wouldn’t appear in exactly the same spot every time. I don’t think it looks very zig-zag at all, but we probably need a side-by-side comparison. Even if it is extensions though, I agree, there’s nothing wrong with that.

Anonymous asked: From what I saw Harry seemed to interact with Kate more than William, but everyone claims he hates her. Oh, okay.

Yes, I noticed that too. Harry and Catherine seemed to get along well, I think that if he “hated” her as some people say, he’d have a really tough time pretending to look that happy and at ease with her every time they’re photographed together. It’s hard to fake liking someone.

Haha look at William’s hand, he’s like “Ah damnit!”

Anonymous asked: Harry was not sad but serious,it was a great day for the Queen,he realises that HM is a perfect woman and a wonderfull queen! This is my opinion, thanks,I love Harry!!!!

I think so too! I also think that on occasion we just saw shots of him just standing around - he probably wasn’t feeling any one way or another, just kind of like “Ok.. I’m on a  boat.” lol.

But yes, it WAS a great day of Queen Elizabeth II and they did such an amazing job of paying tribute to her, and she looked like she was having a fantastic day.

Harry looks SUPER handsom today - just wow. I could look at him all day :)

I feel so stupid… I just realized that

the reason Harry was on the boat isn’t because he’s Prince Charles’s second heir, but because he is currently William’s heir - duuuuuh.

why so sad harry?

I am thinking that something has happened…. someone hass pissed him off… and I recon it is a family member…. I don’t know why! :(

yeah he does not look happy. On the live stream, it showed him arguing with William. Then Kate said something to him and he ignored her and looked straight ahead.

Hm, I saw William & Harry talking, and then when Catherine leaned in to say something he spoke with her & laughed…

Hahahaha.

Asked my neighbors (they just moved here from the UK a couple months ago) why they are playing outside rather than watching the Diamond Jubilee. The answer, “Because The Queen is old.” (My neighbors are 9 and 7.) I said Prince Harry is there & he looks pretty good and her eyes light up! lol.
